Globe Valves (Diaphragm Bellows)

The Globe Valve receives the fluid flow at right angles to disc plane and regulates the flow rate or seals the fluid. The fluid-resistance increases when the valve is fully open. However, the flow path can be adjusted by moving disc up or down to the desired opening.
This valve is widely used in facilities after Gate valve.
JIS terminology: globular valve

  • 1)The Globe Valve is a valve with a disc shaped like a fist. There is a partition wall inside the body. The center of the inlet and outlet is on a straight line, and the fluid flow is valve which forms an S-shape.
  • 2)To stop the fluid flow, press disc against seat surface provided on the partition wall to stop the fluid against the fluid flow.
  • 3)The Globe Valve can be used for either “controlled operation” which adjusts the flow rate by changing disc configuration, or “on/off operation” which is used by opening or closing.
